"Imagine the chaos of normal Just Cause 2, then extending it out to dozens, hundreds, and even thousands of players," is the mod pitch on Steam. The Just Cause 2 Multiplayer mod came out at the end of 2013 with the noble aim of bringing multiplayer to the slapstick open-world of Just Cause 2 (the very same open-world Christian Donlan was praising just yesterday). "For everyone else," the team added, "don't fret we'll have the final version out for your enjoyment once we've worked out all the kinks."
"If you don't know how to switch to the branch, we advise you wait for the official release." If you do switch, you won't be able to use servers running mod version 0.1.5. "Do not switch to this branch unless you are willing to actively help find issues and prepare your scripts for the release," the team warned. If you want to help test version 0.2 before it's generally released, opt in to the public beta branch on Steam's Betas tab.
